Broad Run Ridge is close to Delaware tax free shopping, the University of Delaware, Wilmington University, Widener University and West Chester University.  The towns of Kennett Square, Hockessin, and Newark are only a short drive away. The Delaware beaches and New Jersey shores are under 2 hours away.  The local Amtrak station is in Wilmington, Delaware, making day trips to New York, Philadelphia, Baltimore, and Washington DC easy and convenient.  All of our homes are located in the Kennett Consolidated School District.

Landenberg is an unincorporated community in the Brandywine Valley of Southern Chester County, Pennsylvania.  Formerly part of the range of the Lenape tribe, the White Clay Creek runs through Landenberg, eventually entering the nearby White Clay Creek Preserve.  Landenberg sits in New Garden Township.
Landenberg is located near  the site of the Brandywine Battlefield, a major engagement during the American Revolution.  It is within minutes of Kennett Square, farmers markets, antique shops, vineyards, Longwood Gardens, Nemours Mansion and Gardens, the Wyeth Museum and the Delaware Museum of Art.  There are also several historical areas within Landenberg and New Garden Township, including the Landenberg community (store, church, apartments, hotel), the Ticking Tomb, and the Bucktoe Cemetery, the final resting place for 120 residents who died during the Civil War era.
